Sneaker Mental Lab

Sneaker Mental Labs takes a group of young ladies and men to a local sneaker store to talk about mental health. We create custom shoes based on a specific mental health topic. At the Sneaker Mental sneaker labs, we have a variety of mentors, Doctors and mental health advisors come in to speak with the students. It’s a day to come out to design and to create peace of mind. We give the students blank canvas, a shoe, and allow them to pour their mental status into it by creating a custom shoe that reflects their mentality.

We then introduce them to different therapists, doctors and mental health providers (boxing coaches, skin care technicians, nutritionists, etc.) that assist them with learning how to channel their mental health in a positive way.

Afterwards, the students get to create another shoe with their renewed look on mental status and leave with the impression they can always reference as the new steps in their journey to a healthy mental state.
